December – January – February: Dubai Peak Season
In terms of the temperatures, the best month to travel to Dubai is definitely one of the winter months: December, January or February. This is literally the peak season.
And, obviously, the peak season means the highest hotel prices and the biggest crowds.
Christmas is definitely a popular time to visit Dubai. I think it’s an absolutely fantastic idea to spend the Christmas holidays in Dubai.
Then, in January and February. It’s the best time for shopping in Dubai as you can get terrific discounts on really amazing merchandise.
In these months, it gets darker earlier, already at 4 am. Therefore, I recommend starting the day early to see as much as possible in daylight. But you will also find a lot of amazing places and activities that are very beautiful and a lot of fun at night.
November and March: Best Weather in Dubai
This is right before and after the peak season. The weather is consistently pleasant. At this time, the prices are a bit lower for hotels and there is less crowd in Dubai.
I spent a couple of weeks in Dubai at the end of November and the beginning of December. I didn’t feel it was crowded and the prices were pretty good. I think places such as Munich feel more crowded literally all year long.
I travelled to Dubai spontaneously from Iran at the end of November and I didn’t know what to expect. But it was an awesome decision. I told myself, hey girl, you just nailed the best time of the year to visit Dubai.

Summer in Dubai is just freaking hot, it’s a scorcher. Moreover, it can be extremely humid. Thus, the things to do in Dubai in summer are limited.
For most tourists, it will probably be too hot to enjoy their vacation in Dubai. However, this is the cheapest time to go to Dubai. This is when the hotel prices drop. The cheapest month to visit Dubai is probably July when the temperature can get as high as 41 °C / 106 °F.
